No matter what, Bluetooth no longer works.I can't pair the Bose speaker with the desktop, as the desktop doesn't seem to see that the speaker is in pairing mode.

After installing them, there appears to be some sort of conflict between the Bluetooth drivers in my Windows Control Panel (desktop mode) and the "Devices" screen in Metro mode.

I should have known better.I tell you, I should have known from experience not to install the updates, but I did. Everything worked great - no problems whatsoever - until My Dell advised me that Dell had released new WiFi and Bluetooth drivers for my system (Win 8.1). I recently started using Bluetooth to pair my Bose SoundLink mini speaker to my Dell Inspiron 2330. Thankful for your ideas, answers and information. The white gets severely cyan or yellow tinted when those modes are applied, is it supposed to be like this? Does only one of preset modes use and interpret the color profile correctly, and in that case which?Ĥ) No matter which color profile I use, I regard all preset modes besides sRGB and Adobe RGB quite bad, since the colors they display are horrible and way too exaggerated. When looking at a picture with green maple leaves swapping between the modes reveals a great difference. Is it only the sRGB mode that utilizes the color profile, or do all the other profiles (Standard, Multimedia, Game, Warm, Cool and Adobe RGB) use it too?ģc) With the Beta v2 color profile installed, It feels like using the Adobe RGB preset mode enhances the colors, and render them more realistic than in sRGB mode. However, after applying the latest color profile (beta V2), which I feel has less saturated colors than the original and Beta, I come to wonder what colors are the accurate ones?ģb) Furthermore, I wonder about the preset modes in relation to the installed color profile. I interpreted this as "the colors on the monitor will be accurate and predictable". (I'm shooting in that setting on my camera, and will send in JPEGs without)Ģ) Assuming this being true for the moment, does this in fact mean that I have to have my monitor preset mode set to "sRGB" to get matching results?ģa) This monitor was said to have a certificate and be "color calibrated", which was one of the reasons for me purchasing this monitor.
Not having used color profiles, nor these preset modes before, I feel the need to ask some questions about the proper usage and evaluation of these.ġ) In the aspect of photography, and sending files away for printing, I've read that the sRGB color space should be used. I also see this, and find it troublesome.
In the above post, a question about less saturated colors is raised, but not answered.

The Beta update came, and after that the Beta v2. Just recently after having purchased a Dell u2410, I ran into the problem with the defective monitor profile in Photoshop, thoroughly discussed here, ĭisappointed at dell, impressed with the contributions from community members, and hopeful about a quick and reliable solution, I waited.
